Scheduling Your FAA Knowledge Test

The FAA has contracted with PSI Services to administer all FAA knowledge tests.

An FAA Tracking Number (FTN) is required to schedule a knowledge test. An instructor endorsement is also required for most knowledge tests. Please refer to the FAA Knowledge Testing Matrix for the complete list of requirements.

If you received an endorsement from one of our instructors, you must select the following options when scheduling the exam:

• Under "School Or Experience," you must select "Other."
• Under "Authorization Category," you must select "Other Statement or Endorsement Eligibility."
