LAANC Data
We collect data required for FAA LAANC (Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability) authorization, including operator name, email, phone number, drone registration number, and flight parameters (e.g., location, altitude, time, safety justification).

We collect information when you create an account, make a purchase, or use one of our apps or services.

How We Use Collected Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Process LAANC requests
• Personalize app features to your needs
• Provide access to your data across devices and browsers

Anonymized and aggregated data may be used for analysis and functionality across all users. Aggregated data is grouped and does not identify individuals. Anonymized data removes all personally identifiable information.

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services or comply with legal obligations. When no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize the information. LAANC data is retained according to FAA requirements unless deletion is requested.

We do not share Personal Information with third parties except:

• With the FAA, under applicable laws, regulations, and LAANC agreements
• To comply with legal orders or law enforcement
• To report or prevent criminal or national security threats
• To address fraud, security, or technical issues
• To protect our intellectual property
• To perform services on our behalf (e.g., payment processing, hosting)
• To enforce contracts or terms of service, including investigations
• With advertising service providers (e.g., Google) for internal conversion tracking and performance measurement only. We do not permit the use of this data for behavioral advertising or remarketing.

International Data Transfers

If you access our services from outside the United States, please note that your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using our services, you consent to this transfer and processing.

Reviewing and Deleting Your Information

You may request copies of your data or request deletion. For LAANC data, submit a request at https://www.flightready.net/support. Your LAANC data will be deleted within 3 business days of receipt of your request.

GDPR (EU Users)

We currently do not offer any products or services in the European Union. However, if you are an EU resident and believe your data has been collected through the use of our apps or services, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). These include the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict your personal data; object to data processing; and request data portability. CCPA/CPRA (California Users)

We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as defined by California law. We use advertising tools strictly for internal analytics and performance measurement, not for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How We Protect Your Personal Information

Passwords are stored in encrypted form. We cannot view or change your password. A valid email address is required to authenticate account ownership.

Employees are bound by strict confidentiality agreements. We use Amazon Web Services for data storage and server infrastructure with real-time backups and geographically distributed servers.

We regularly audit our apps and websites for vulnerabilities. Your data is stored in secure environments with limited access, and sensitive transmissions are encrypted via SSL.

Mobile App Permissions

Our mobile apps may request access to certain features such as location services, camera, microphone, and storage. These permissions are required to provide specific features and can be managed in your device settings.

We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. This may involve setting cookies to track whether users complete certain actions on our site after interacting with our ads. We do not use this data for behavioral targeting or share it with third parties for remarketing purposes. We do not use Google Signals, remarketing lists, or other Google Ads features that involve personalized or cross-site advertising.
