Sync Annotations With FlightReady FAR/AIM
FlightReady FAR/AIM - Enabling Syncing via iCloud
Syncing of annotations and settings is done via Apple's iCloud service, and does not require any special configuration as long as all devices are signed in to the same iCloud account. However, in some cases, some or all of a device's iCloud services may be disabled, which will prevent syncing to or from iCloud.
If you suspect that syncing is not occurring, please follow these steps:
- On each device, open the Settings app, then tap your name at the top.
- Verify that the email below your name (your Apple ID) is the same on all devices.
- Scroll down, and tap on the iCloud option.
- Verify that the following iCloud services are enabled on all devices:
- Keychain
- iCloud Backup
- iCloud Drive
NOTE: iCloud is a third-party service managed by Apple. Syncing is not always instantaneous, and may take a few minutes to complete. Syncing will not occur during iCloud outages. To check service status, visit Apple's System Status page.
