Course progress cannot simply disappear without a trace, and it is impossible to delete course progress by logging out or deleting the app. As you complete activities in a course, your progress is saved to your device and to our database. That database is synced to a secondary database in different geographic region, and backed up every 5 minutes. We also retain a daily database snapshot for 1 year, which allows us to review a history of a user's course progress.

However, it may appear as if course progress is "missing" if you selected a different course after logging in because many of our courses share core lessons, such as weather and aerodynamics, and some courses have similar names. It may also appear as if course progress is missing if you log in with a different account.

If you contact us regarding missing course progress, you must include the name of the course, the app you are using with that course, and the email address associated with your account. Before contacting us, verify that you are in fact logging in with that account and selecting the correct course.

Courses administered by flight schools may impose time limits, and the course will reset automatically after time expires. If this occurs, the course progress cannot be restored unless the reset occurred before the stated time period expired due to technical issue with our services.
